Every parent we talk to is carrying the same quiet question. They don't always say it out loud, but it sits underneath the school choices, the activity schedules, the conversations about college, the tuition checks.
Will my child be ready for whatever the world becomes?
We can't answer that. No one can. But after twenty years of building businesses and hiring hundreds of people, we know what the answer is not. It is not credentials. It is not which school. It is not which major. It is not even, in the end, which first job.
The answer is whether your child walks into adulthood with a foundation, the kind that holds whether the economy is up or down, whether their chosen industry exists in twenty years or has been folded into something we cannot yet name.
What we teach is that foundation. The ability to sell. To listen. To handle what goes wrong. To make your own dollar, from a real customer, with your own hands and judgment. It is the most durable skill a person can carry, and the most quietly universal.

It matters in every path they might take.
If they become a contributor inside a great company, the kind of employee every team fights to keep, the skills they learned here are exactly the skills their employer will reward. They will understand their customer. They will own their outcomes. They will move faster than their peers, because they have done this work before, when it was their own name on the table.
If they choose a profession, medicine, law, design, teaching, the trades, the arts, they will carry the rare and powerful instinct of treating their work as if they owned it. People who do this go further in every field. It is the difference between a job and a craft.
And if they choose to build something of their own, when they are ready, when the idea is right, they will start from a place no business-school graduate ever quite reaches: they will have already done it. They will not be hoping. They will know.

We are not asking them to choose between paths. We are preparing them to thrive on any of them.
The world is changing faster than any generation has had to navigate. AI is reshaping the careers many of us know best, the law firm, the consulting practice, the federal agency, the hospital, the policy shop. These careers are not disappearing. The parts of them that hold their value are increasingly the human ones: customer judgment, ownership of an outcome, trust built across a table. The work that does not run on a prompt.
The skills underneath that work, speaking up, handling a no, reading what a room needs, selling an idea on its merits, leading something when no one is in charge, are exactly what every Founder here practices, week after week, with real money on the line.

There is also something quieter at stake. The most common reason adults don't build something of their own, when they would like to, is not missing talent. It is a missing experience. By the time they reach an age where they might try, life is full. And fear of the unknown reasonably fills in for the experience they never had.
A young person who has earned their first dollar at twelve does not carry that fear at thirty. They have already met a customer, set a price, handled a complaint, kept a book. Whatever they eventually choose, they choose because they want to, not because the alternative scared them off.
That is the gift.

A traditional education is important. Many of our Founders will use theirs to do remarkable things. A young person who has both a strong formal education and the experience of building something real walks into the world prepared to thrive in more ways than either alone could prepare them for.
We help young people earn their first dollar. Then their first hundred. Then their first thousand.
Along the way, they earn the deepest conviction any person can carry:
That whatever comes next, they're ready to meet it.
